Tesco refused to sell a 15 certificate DVD to mother (Birthday prezzy for 72 year old) because her 12 year old daughter TOUCHED IT!!!!
Believe it or not, it is TESCO policy....

Holy Smeg!! Thats PC gone more mental than I thought possible.
When an underage goes to the cinema with adults they are allowed to watch the film (at least this is what I remember from being underage...) as they have adult supervision, same with games. They can't BUY it but the shop has no say what happens when you get the item home. And as it was an adult buying the item, seriously?? Tesco has issues.

Got another one for you.
A 99p store in Sudbury, suffolk refused to sell a girl a packet of coloured pencils because it contained a "pencil sharpener".
They said that a pencil sharpener is classed as a dangerous object.
Yet how many school children are required to have one in their pencil cases at school?

LOL Seriously?? As I remember from my days at school, we pretty much all had one. And to be honest its better than the alternative, which is sharpening your pencil with a knife...
How petty is that? These people need a slap.
