My Aunty Doris has died..(05/08/2010)

Telephoned my cousin, Annette (Dauthville, Nee Kerfoot) to have a conversation about it.No-one had elucidated to her that the news to her that our aunt Doris had died.

We, the 11 Grandchildren of William Harold Kerfoot and Helena Kerfoot (Nee Holden) were told that upon the death of the eldest surviving sibling, the entire estate would pass ine equal shares

all well and good being 'told' it all depends on the will and the law

It has been common knowledge through the family for fourty years or so, that the grandchildren would inherit.

I got the full SP from a cousin. Apparently, the geriatric home where she was living somehow coersed Auntie into changing her solicitor, and then changing her will.

I have been advised that they already stripped the bungalow of aunties possessions,including many antiques and a box containing £150.00 in gold sovereigns, and put the bungalow and land surrounding it (about 1 acre)on the market for £500,000.00

I think they mean to pocket the lot. They have already been into her bank account!

Think I will have to take legal advise on this!

Death, Wills and Relatives never mix well.

She got a good earful, and more when I spoke to her earlier on. If I do not hear from her again before I pop my clogs, I will be a Happy Bunny.......

I obviously have a different sense of humour as this kind of joke just doesnt compute... How do people find that funny?

my humour covers all aspects, even sick humour as they say. But I could never stoop so low as something like this
