Even in Alaska they have had large amounts of permofrost melting some of which contained ancient woodland, and now those areas have defrosted and previously dead trees are now rotting and adding even more co2 to the earths atmosphere. You could always try asking a polar bear what he thinks about it tho, but be prepared to duck as I don't think you would like the reply

I'd want one inch bars between the Polar bear and me before I got within a mile of it!!!!

They are known to eat us for Dinner you know!!!

They more or less go where they want and when they want but lets face it who is going to argue They do have special bear patrols in some places now but the problem is going to get worse not better all the time they are loosing their habitat and hunting grounds

And it is not as though they can switch diet and hunt Penguin instead!!!!!
