A Conversation for The UnderGuide
Where is the UnderGuide?

I see this page which is known as the UnderGuide Headquarters, give all sorts of details about how to help create the UnderGuide. But I can't see anywhere that says where the UnderGuide is. Where's contents page?

Hi Gnomon,
I don't have a full answer to that question, i'm afraid, but one tip is that it has been included as a category (the last one) under 'The Universe' on the Front Page: C1233
Hope that's of some help,

That's a good answer. But shouldn't there be a link to the UnderGuide on the UnderGuide Headquarters page?

I guess... but hey, don't ask me, i'm in it for the flights of fancy, not the administrative grind!
And, er... i'm really *not* The French Connection in disguise! honest!

There isn't a definite home of the UG. We use this one most often to link to.
Frankly it would be difficult to create a UG page. You can't just create one page describing the EG now can you?
This page is one of our ongoing projects though I'll *try* to work on it tonight.

With the current Italic-hiatus there are no new UG pieces. A direct link to the first two ones (and later ones once the site is being run properly again) can be found at the Front Page of h2g2.
Ashley is creating an categorisation scheme that will enable you to find the type of entries you want.
AFAIK this scheme is not on-site yet.

hi,
yes, it's already on the Front Page category lists, at the bottom of 'The Universe' list.
Qu: Where do you find the UnderGuide?
Ans: At the end of the Universe, of course?
C1233 is a bit empty at the mo, since only 2 pieces have been through selection/acceptance. But in the meantime, a look through the AWW threads will give you a clue as to what's being talked about, and what might be on it's way *towards* the UG.
Regarding 'where to go to read them', a little (UG) is included in the title, so that the selected entries will subsequently be recognisable in the search engine results.

Well, you are left with 2 options: 'browse' C1233 - it won't take long, ; or dive in to the AWW and look for the good stuff.
There's all sorts in there, but a quick look through the threads rather than going straight to a particular entry will give you an idea what to expect.
There are many that i could recommend, but i'd rather leave it up to you.

The entrance to The UnderGuide Archive, now up to date and fully functional is at A2112490. A1007876, one of the rooms off the entrance now contains all the UnderGuide exhibits.
happy reading.
