I was second in command of erm NightBlade I think, then the Base regiment and Head MP, I was a Colonel, much to spooks charagrin

Just an idea, why don't you wipe names and regiments and start again because 90% of those people aren't around anymore

I wasn't in the army for too long... but creachy did say I could be a captian... but never assigned me a regiment and it was when the place was more or less dead anyways

And unretired Field-Marshall Terran, A Major Dr Anthea, A Colonel Reefgirl, and a Captain Khamsin.

Something along the lines of "Stop shufflin your feet you 'orrible little person, once you've put your name on the dotted line get yourself over to the Quartermaster to get your kit, the off to your barrack room, GET YOUR KIT LAID OUT FOR INSPRCTION IN 10 MINUTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
