As I was travelling back last night
I saw the moon a shining bright
It looked so big in the sky
appeared to give gravity a fight
Seriously I've never seen the moon look so big it looked like you could almost touch it

Weird. I didn't notice the moon last night, but I did have a dream in which a colossal moon appeared promptly. Although the dream-moon covered the best part of a quarter of the sky so I'm guessing the real moon wasn't quite that big .

Your dream sounds about right for what I saw. I thought it may have been a satellite but it seemed to be travelling as I drove so I'm confused. I know that my bf was camping that weeked and full moons make him talk in his sleep so maybe he had an affect on this half moon.

When I see a full moon, I have visions of the film E.T. where Elliot cycled past the moon with E.T. in the basket .
Strange what triggers memories .
