I gave up on "Ask" when it became obvious that an actual question was compulsory. It used to be the area with most traffic, so you could count on getting a good discussion going. But the stickler rules made that more awkward.

I seem to recall they created new forums or whatever I should call them. It doesn't seem possible to find those, though. I can't imagine any newbie finding them (and wasn't that the purpose of creating them and trying to force the community to use them by censoring 'ask'?
