Some of you will know that my friend Fizzymouse has left hootoo - and not for good.

She has wiped her PS and even removed her name, and there is nothing I could say, let alone do, to make her reconsider.

It is a reaction to the misbehaviour of one Researcher, and the lack of reaction (i.e. not calling him up on his bad behaviour) of many others.

I am very sad to have lost my 'sister'.

How do we get Fizzy back?

It wasn't just the one bad apple, Mala, it was more what was not said by some which made her go.

Oh dear. There are one or two threads where the number of posts climbed quickly and I didn't check in to see what was happening. I'll have to go check them now, even though it may be too late, though I hope it's not.

I'm afraid Fizzy is serious about it, and I can't blame her.

I never really spoke to Fizzy but i know her through yikes, i wish she would come back.

I don't know, there seems to be an unhealthy atmosphere on hootoo currently, and I'm seriously thinking of just concentrating on my work for the Post - it seems to be the only area where I can relax and just do what I like doing, without having to worry to cause any upset.

Can someone explane what happened RL has got the better of me in the last sevral weeks.

Bob, just look through the FP conversations - everything PR-related.

I really feel that this is a monumental mistake, to allow some rather arrogant comments from one researcher to drive out one who has worked so hard. This not the way to encourage budding writers to have a go. Who is going to put their heads above the parapet to be shot at like that? Had the comments been justified it might have been different (though still very bad form) but they were not. I found them a bit late in the day, as many will have done, which is probably why there hasn't been the amount of support you would have expected.

I do hope Fizzy will reconsider.

I now see what mean but I cant see what can be done to undo this mess. If Fizzy goes then the site will be thepoorer for it she was a bright shiny star on any thread and entry she joined = she was right where has all the fun gone?
