...due to my forced 'diet'. It doesn't look as if it's going to get better for another week.
I start wishing I had told the dentist to simply pull the tooth, couldn't have been worse than it is now.

I must have missed something somewhere along the line...

You should come here, we've got a new dentist and he's German, he's called Uli.

It's that rotten molar. I had an three hour dentist session last week, and then the makeshift came lose, preventing me from eating because it was just too painful. Add the sore throat I had on Sunday, and you get the picture.
Had the tooth fixed yesterday (more pain), but I feel it's come loose again, so I won't dare to eat.

I don't like the dentist at all,you were very brave to have an appointment that lasted more than 30 minutes.I hope you've rung to tell them you think it's loose again,that doesn't sound right to me.You need your food too.,i hope they sort it out for you soon.

Please, try some soft food though - that amount of weight loss surely isn't good for you - you wouldn't notice it if *I* lost it, but you're not exactly... well... as round as me!

I guess I'm lucky that I can actually afford to lose a few kg without looking skinny as a result.

So, just because you're in pain and can't eat anything, does that mean you don't still have to cook for the rest of 'em- are they going to eat soup along with you, or will you have to cook something else as well? That's the torturous part for me, cooking something when I'm hungry but I just can't eat any...

*wonders if toothache/weight loss works exponentially, in which case will see about having a few more pulled*

I refuse to cook different meals for different people, so if I eat soup, they all do - or they're free to cook something for themselves.

Good for you! I have friends whose families expect different things cooked for different people and it doesn't seem very fair. Hope hubby and the boys all like their soup!

And any time anyone would like a few extra kg, you're more than welcome to some of mine.
