Hi Bel, you should try my version of ajo blanco: apple, toasted almonds, garlic, salt, vinegar and olive oil. Water to clear the paste. You can add a few peeled grapes as decoration.
Not a very winter soup but it´s quite nutritious and digestive.

Oh dear, I haven´t said that you use the mixer to get a thick paste with all the ingredients.

Still, I'm not sure how pasty I could get it with my mixer.

Hope you get the tooth sorted. It's one misery I can't stand, I would rather go to the dentist, the trouble is they not only take a tooth but an arm and a leg as well!!!

That has a few calories, so maybe I should drink a bit more than my usual one glass per evening.

I used to have one of those space hopper things when I was little, only ours are called "Hippity Hops". I used to love that thing! My bedroom had hardwood floors and was directly above my parents' room; I didn't get to hop on that thing early in the morning too many times before they restricted me to outdoor hippity-hopping.

Feel better soon, Bel. The wine might do you some good, my doctor suggsted a bit each day for my last toothache. I'd be happy to share a soup recipe or two if it's needed.
