I had the idea 'Waterrat' (5 does have laces in his shoes, but is not knotting them self) would have some comments, so I told him the message. I could not start the second line, he directly started protesting: "No they shouldn't the trees make the air we need to breath!"

Later at a local playground 'Waterrat' walking on a 'wall', some sleeper size beams. He notices the growth rings on the wood.
"Daddy, these have been trees, look at the circles! These don't make air anymore. "

In the car with mummy, the gardeners are removing old trees from near the road.
"That is to prevent forest fires, they have to remove the forests or they will start burning."

I am waiting for his next remark about the trees.



I got an old laptop recently {no batteries included}, it as got Windows 95 retail installed . Now we can compute everywhere! 'Rose' (7 can just read and write her first words) wants me to learn her to use it. She seriously wants to write a book, but she always loses her scripts. Now she is going to write it on the computer (unaware you can also 'lose' documents stored somewhere on our network).
