Great entry. I didn't know anything about Doris Day other than her being a famous and great actress.
Now that I know that she had something of a hard life (how many failed marriages were that?), I'm even more impressed by how she always seems so carefree and positive in her roles.

hello there yes she was a trouper wasnt she, who could have known . also she was very ill after making Calamity Jane dont know if it was from stress of the workload or the stress of her life with Melcher, he wasnt the best of men. but her son and grandson Im sure gave her great pleasure, she is a one off . great woman .

ha ha sitting here laughing at your message Im the same love all her work , great songs and what a sense of humour and compassion the lady has , approaching her charities the way she does. did you know she couldnt have any more children since having large cyst removed years ago. how sad. lovely lady.
