A few days ago I caught the end of a DD movie about her landing a plane with the help of Frank Lovejoy (I think) at the control tower, and was wondering about her as I'd been a fan in the 50s. I loved her speaking voice and hairstyles as well. She had such a sparkling on-screen presence that reading about her troubled life came as quite a surprise. The best part of the surprise however, is to know that she is an animal lover and doing something about it. Thanks for the write-up.

BTW, the DD subject was the first I clicked on (i.e. the shorter version) to find out what the B.J. Project was all about.smiley - cheers
