I'm glad to see that our pain is on h2g2. I have been a Red Sox fan since birth and will die a Red Sox fan, whether or not they ever win the series. As a true fan of a cursed team I would just like this opportunity to say how pathetic "band wagon" fans are. You know the type, whatever team happens to be winning. Of course I guess as any Sox fan will tell you, we'll win it next year.

I come from the land of the glory supporter - Manchester United may be the best supported football (soccer) team in the world, but come to Manchester itself and the only United fans are little kids; City are the people's team.
Baseball has only (apart from a brief spell in the mid-80's) been on television in the UK since 1997, and I've been a Mets fan from the start which, given the existence of the Atlanta Braves...(Incidentally, if the Braves are so good, how come their World Series record is 1-2 since 1991 while the record of the rest of the NL East is also 1-2)
Key: Complain about this post
