I have bought a stepping stone for the garden, which will stand on it's edge ,next to the rockery, and a red rose tree, full of flowers,to plant next to it.
The inscription on the stone reads
"God gave us memories, that we might have roses in december".It says all i need to.

Sal, that is beautiful
This will be a difficult day for you. Remember always how she once was. It is futile to chew over the "whys and wherefores" and will only exhaust and upset you.
Rejoice in having had a lovely Mum. So many people are not that fortunate.

That does sound lovely Sal, I bet the rose bush looks nice. Is it flowering yet?

It must be a lovely feeling for folk to have such happy memories of thier Mums. That was a great idea of the bush, something that will be there for the years to come

The rose tree looks lovely, full of tiny red roses, and there's no snow to cover up the stone today.I am not sad,and i'm sure mum isn't either. She is with past loved ones, and sharing her day with them.x
