I don't play much but I love painting the models, the paints are really expensive considering you only get 12ml!

Have you noticed that every time they redo the paints, you get less and pay more????
and theyy got rid of all the really cool metallics.

I'm sure they make the paints start go go solid a bit after you buy them. Mine seem too.

If your paints have turned solid, try carving new models out of them. Perhaps the fools at GW put the modelling putty in the wrong container.

Or maybe you didn't put the tops back on properly.
Have you ever noticed that GW have the coolest staff on the shop floor, but then the managers are gits? I speak from experience, having been a staff member myself. And they get worse, the higher up the chain of command you go.
And yes, the pots do get smaller and more expensive. But don't bawl me out for it. The shop staff don't decide pricing policy! Don't blame them!!
It always annoyed me.

What were the 5 dashes meant to represent?
I'm an avid collector, it's just that we all think that the products are horribly over-priced. For instance, when you're staff, you get to buy mail order products at £30 per kilo. That's 120 skeletons, or 70 Tactical Marines/'speeders. And they still make a stupid amount of profit out of that.

As and Irishperson, I'm afraid I cannot complain about prices for a reason why I better not mention anyone in GW.
But as GW customer I think that it's worth it - they need the money to set up new stores and such..

Have you got any idea how much profit they make? Stupidly large amounts. You don't want to know how much...

They deserve to make a huge profit...
But some competition in the market would be nice

Necro (Patron Daemon of Patron Saints) Posted Mar 14, 2000
Why to you think they deserve the huge profits?

They might be a great company, but the people who make all the money are gits. The staff get paid a pitance. The only people who make the money are the shareholders and the directors. Everyone else gets shafted.
