Bit late, but how did it go?

It was definitely a strange interview. The interviewer (the MD!) quizzed me for ten minutes about my old job (he'd apparently been a director there before striking out on his own), glanced over my portfolio, told me I could be starting on Tuesday (he'll let me know tomorrow) and asked if anyone else was leaving my old place - before taking phone numbers for two of my old colleagues.

I'll be surprised if I get it as he wanted a Copywriter/Producer - with an emphasis on the Producer. I'm exactly the sort of writer he needs, but I know naff all about mixing, recording and editing audio tracks...

Hmmm, maybe he'll realize how good a writer you are and perhaps he can either bring in someone else to do the recording and mixing, or have you learn really fast.

The man say no - he needs a producer first and foremost. They're keeping my details on file though, if they ever need an out and out copywriter.
