Baseball again
My baseball project has finally hit the front page, and I have my University Field Researcher Badge. I got an oddly personalized email from the eds, saying "Dear Jodan,
Just a quick (if slightly belated) mail to congratulate you on your
Baseball project, which is now being promoted on our Front Page. You
should now find a bright new Field Researcher Badge on your Personal
Space for your efforts."
'deed, they are correct. The front pages promotes it with the blurb "Next up to the bat, some of the great American Legends of Baseball are saluted in a massive 17-part project, courtesy of h2g2 Researcher Jodan."
...and I do indeed have a nice little light blue badge right below my orange ACE one. That makes five badges. It also makes my total solo edited entry count up to 39!
And I suppose I should give a small rant about the Marlins. Well I'm not going to. It's enough with the baseball already. All I'll say is that at least the Yankees didn't win

Haven't had time to read them all yet, but since there are 17 entries it seems fairly obvious you've worked damn hard to put these entries up.
Congratulations

I'm getting more important all the time, eh?
I don't like this color scheme of badges much though. Orange, light blue, grey, green, red. I don't like my ACE badge much at all.
I wouldn't bother reading them. 17 is an awful lot, eh? Wildman wrote two and Hypatia wrote one.

Well I might catch the odd one.
I've updated that Lady from Kent entry by the way I don't know why I forgot it

Nice to hear you say that - the day it gets taken off
So far no complaints on the project's rushedness (which I might add, you, Mina, imposed on me!) Several even linked to it in his section of Sporting with Egon

Aww...you got in first.
I was going to say "Congrats on not being on the Front Page".
First time in about six months, isn't it?

I reckon. I'm going at a pretty good pace.
Of course, this is just my hobby, my *job* is the UnderGuide

I'm not really here Posted Nov 10, 2003
Sorry I was so late! I don't get enough time for h2g2 these days. Tonight I was avoiding playing a game on the PS2 cos I got stuck on a difficult bit, so I was filling in time on h2g2. Which meant I could go round and post on people's spaces.
And it was rushed for a reason you know!
Key: Complain about this post
