You could try putting it in a jiffy-bag. They've got that bubble wrap stuff which would protect the paper from any thinly-sliced-cured-pork-product-discharge. Probably.

an interesting idea, i think we have discovered a gap in the market, why not try instant bacon too, just add water!

Shouldn't that be just add cooking oil? And we'd have to find a way of separating out the white bits from the pink bits. Otherwise it would be sort of a.... well.... lighter pink all over.

perhapse some sort of mould is in order and seperate packets, but after all that complication you might as well have cooked it. After all perhapse light pink bacon might actualy look quite good if unappetising
