I'm popping by as one of the assistant community editors(or <./>aces</.&gtsmiley - winkeyehere. We greet newbies such as yourself and help you get nicely settled. Thanks for the brief introductionsmiley - ok, not everyone bothers to provide one. Next, to familiarize yourself with everything carefully review my colleague Feisor's list of Hints and Links at A719840. Examining the various features in the process, you'll discover that there's alot to see...and do! Two fine examples are the rather substantial assortment of <./>smileys</.> and the verbal exchanges in the <./>GamesRoom</.>.

As you progress down the list, you'll encounter The h2g2 Post's Links Page. It is indeed a pageful of links, offering connections to numerous points of interest. You'll find the Researchers' smiley - earthMap at A719840 and the Regional Researchers' Groups at A660313(among other things). A few of those are the h2g2 Cycling Club at A690572, the Random Quotes Guild at A907382, the smiley - bookworms Club at A745544 and the Personal Space Workshop at A1123354. The Workshop may be useful as a supplement to Spicing Up Your User Page, which Feisor refers you to.

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Simply use the 'Reply' button and I'll try to respond promptly, ok.smiley - cheers

JohnRicardo

well, I didn't make a very good start!
I entered three conversation pieces by mistake!
Only one of them is correct ( I thought I was editing)
Any way I can remove them?
John

I wouldn't worry too much. If you look at the bottom of every page(of those conversations)it says 'Click here to unsubscribe from this conversation'. Clicking that removes it from your page, so you can delete two and keep the correct one.

JohnRicardo

It says in the Help Page that once a conversation has been posted it can't be deleted.
I have deleted the conversations from my space
but they remain in place in the forum.
I don't see an unsubscribe option?
