Surgical face-masks are a waste of time! They are only protective for about 4 to 5 mins
Once the moisture from your breath soaks in them, they attract bugs/viruses etc far faster.
THIS info is from a qualified medical nurseand close friend.
It's more "safer" to wear a scarf around your face

As I've told you my country has been completely locked down for days already. Only food store and pharmacists are open now. Everything else - and I mean EVERY thing - is closed now. But we can still go for walks as long as we keep our distance. I visited an old friend this afternoon. He's 79 and in excellent health for his age. It was a sunny day and warm enough to sit outside in his garden with our winter overcoats on. We had a few drinks and talked about the situation and that was that. And that was okay. We'll get through this

At the end of the day - using common sense is the answer! BUT! as in panic buying etc just shows how many people are 2 brain cells behind a plant

In deepest, darkest South Ockendon, there seems to be less traffic (except early in the morning) and at times it is free all sound of motor vehicles passing by my maisonette flat.

Apart from my ongoing chronic sinus infection or as say in medical circles sinus rhinitis. It feels like I have got a rhino stuck my left nostril and another one in my cheeks sinuses.

I feel sleepy all the time, which I think it is due to my chronic sinus rhinitis and possible hay-fever and fibromyalgia chronic fatigue. I feel like I have had too much red wine as I feel a bit tiddly.

I have been entertaining Simba , by telling my cat puns, singing to him and having a winking competition. Simba loves to watch YouTube videos on the television. I know that he enjoys watching them by the way he twitches his ears.

I have been busy with my spring cleaning but had to stop because of my fibromyalgia chronic fatigue.

Grocery shopping is a nightmare as I have always shopped online grocery shopping because of my chronic ill health. I am also trying to eat a more varied, healthy diet. I am drinking cold water flavoured with herbal teabags since late October/early November last year.

I have three garden planters that are flooded with rain and I have ordered soil to soak up the rainwater. The compost heap is coming on nicely and I have topped up my home-made garden pond with water but had to add a special liquid to make it suitable for wildlife. The wild cherry tree has white blossom which looks like it is covered with confetti.

Sweetheart! I'm putting this in "Yorkshire bluntness" DO whatever it takes love to stay safe and well
I'm still hoping for the day I can "win" some decent money - there are a few friends within hootoo I want to meet and YOUR one of them love
