btw, Skugga, I found "Do the Pop!" listed for sale at both Amazon.com US and Half.com, so I'm sure it's available in Europe as well. I'm going to order a copy today!

You can email them on:- [email protected]
The full title is - Do The Pop! The Australian Garage-Rock Sound 1976-'87.

And here's another good site. Very comprehensive.
It's called HOUSE OF THE RISING PUNK and here's how to get there:

There's actually more to come but I want to check them first so that you guys don't waste your time. Ain't that nice?
By the way, I really enjoyed the Crass page on House of the rising punk.

Newsflash! Might go back to music journalism soon, or at least I'm trying. I've been offered a collaboration with a local web magazine.
More on my page soonish. I feel so incredibly punk rock today

Wow! Congratulations! Be sure to let us know when it's up... although, what language will it be in?

And right you are. I can "do" music journalism in English, but I wouldn't have an outlet for it around here.
I'm excited When I quit my full-time job as a journalist because I wasn't getting paid, I didn't realize I'd miss it so much. The good thing about this offer is, that although I won't be getting paid for a while (but I have my day job for that), I've been asked to join as a site administrator because they already know how I work and think I'm good enough to have my articles published directly without having to go through the editor-in-chief.
That's how cool it is. I'll do it for free, if only for the ego-boost!
The big plus is that this might give me the chance to become a professional journalist. Which is something I always thought I'd do but never managed.
Whoo-hoo! Let's just hope everything goes according to plan.

Wow, Greta, that's great! Congrats! I wish you all the luck in the world, and hope it'll all work out for you professionally.
Chan-Mick, the House of the Rising Punk is a great site! I've had it bookmarked in my browser for a while now, and still haven't read everything I want to. Another one I like, although not nearly as good, is World Wide Punk: http://www.worldwidepunk.com. I was reminded of- and discovered- a lot of great films through their movie database as well.

"Mr T, are you still going to the meet ?"
For the first time in a long time, I can't.
It turns out we could only rehearse properly tomorrow, and as we've got a gig coming up, we've got to use the time. Plus I don't have a lot of money, plus I have work to do during the day.
I really enjoy h2g2 meets, and this one looks like a corker. Please enjoy yourselves, those who are going!
