Traveller in Time Reporting Bugs -o-o- Broken the chain of Pliny -o-o- Hired Started conversation Jul 8, 2003
Hi there,
Let me introduce myself ( again )
"My nick name is Traveller in Time (more not to be disclosed please..)
I am just another researcher over here, thet is I slowly get the inpression I am perhaps the only one researching anything I see.
Got an example for you ( A1079822 ) for the # anchor sub locator you searched. I have just stumbled into your pages and I guess You managed it by now anyway.
Must give you big credit for the Albatros site inside this Guide. It is one of the more consistent linked places to be, here in the Guide that is." (< t i t > no spaces) Traveller in Time translating ( I play role games with myself to communicate multi threaded inside one thread )
"If they will encounter dolphins? I guess so." to Nick again"Will you see dolpphins too if you are searching for the last Albatros ?"
Nephew Who comming in looking in a worn out suitcase
"I am missing any nature landscapes in my collection. Can you photograph them too along with the birds?"

Nick.Grainger (AU) Posted Jul 9, 2003
Thanks TiT42
I'm sure we'll see dolphins and some great landscapes too. I'll take photos I promise and share them on the site.
Nick

Nephew Who comes in carrying his Guide and searching for any sailors
"I some minor problems reading the names on your drawings of English Rose V1, about 3 pixels wide. An idea can you list wat is on the drawings, I will add then as Alt to the links on ( A1103509 ) use edit1103509 to see the GuideML source."
Traveller in Time on his head and a kit bag over his shoulder
"How about my duty, I guess by any reply I signed in to your fan club to virtually join the journey. Do you have the roster ready for sweaping the decks?"

Nephew Who comes in awake this time "Sorry that was not quite how I thought to say it. It should have been more like: 'Nice images. Small problem, about three pixels per character. I have an more or less nautical background, and know what it is ( in my own language) post a list of names as on the images and corrections, check my page ( A1103509 ) for an example' And now the test1103509 for a GuideML view, page just now updated."

John is using downwind as a sailor instead of 'with the wind' for the landlubbers."

Thundering Voice from nowhere
"
Structure of this site:
Only the <./>italics</.> (also Sam as we know him) around here do work for the Guide
Everything around here has been made to stimulate writing
Most researchers are a one night stand
Apx 1000 more or less regulars
Apx 500 just only "slow chat"
Average 150 logged in 500..1000(?) just watching (lurking)
We research to compile the Guide, DNA U42 wrote some books about it
"
Slight hissing sound remains as The Voice silences...
Sailor in Time showing around his muscles by wearing short trousers and a T-shirt.
"So I guess I am hired? Well, lets see what we cans learn these landludders. Who made me a small book for it. ( A1023456 )"
Traveller in time holding a note ( paper)

on a thead ( F124705?thread=279587 )
"Ok I am using the square root (introducing
^0.5 from nowhere) for my own fracture."
<> playing with a little diffractive cube
"Do you have the Guide in backup with you, I have got one here"
trying to find a fitting slot on your laptop
"Hmm, ask sam for a compatible update. It can be good fun for calm days."
Nephew Who tapping on his console
"Checked some of the bird protection site, no references to this albatros project perhaps let someone email them of current site. John and sail manufacturer have good link"
Susan Winkle aka Nephew Who also on the console
"I do not get this. BBC does not point to this site in a search for albatross? . . .
(perhaps while "our" server was down)
found
( www.savethealbatros.org.za ) dnel@ or Lviljoen@ to inform about this site
Perhaps let someone else search for notes on bird action lists and inform about this one."
Traveller in Time again
"Do you have an image of the sea, nothing in particular perhaps a wave, bird or fish in very background, <=15K and there it goes: 1000*100, horizon wrong way curved, bowl shaped. I am designing a yacht and could use a sea to sail in."
Nephew Who looking up
"And Who has to build it. Images of diagonals, curves on transparent background would also be great. And much faster to build with. Some would go wild for a vertical spectrum line."

Traveller in Time....
I've fixed the link errors and have taken aboard the other gems - but sadly my own time is running out. With just hours to go before I depart, and then a week offline (will I stay sane?), I'll not get close to this for a while. And then it'll be this and that and the other as we finally ready the boat for the off on the 26th. But thanks to you and that pesky wee nephew... the pages will slowly improve.

Nephew Who sneaking out covered by a fog created by crew and ornithologists
"I made up the Bunks for all the crew members as far as I understand this. ( A1108360 )"
Traveller in Time after instructing Susan Winkle how to whipe the deck
"Take a look at my yacht ( A1108379 ) she will always be under construction. She sails fine we just only need to connect the instruments. How about one page with GPS log each time new into list table name of the page each day current GPS position, such link will show on instrument display dayly"
Susan Winkle aka Nephew Who checking the date on her console

The personal space is a special entry automatically filled by routines with links.
Making postings and other personal properties appear personal instead of belonging to an entry.
