Today I was awakened by my sister at 8:00 a.m. this morning. She turned on my room light and handed me a page of the newspaper. Of course I was a little angry because it was so bright... Anyways she pointed to a little article in the paper that she thought would interest me...of course it did. I was reading along when I realized something....my friend killed somebody.
It was stated in the newspaper under the local section that. My good friend, a 19 year old girl, was driving along the rode when she hit a 27 year old woman on her bike riding out in the morning. When police arrived the woman was already dead and my friend was in shock at what happened. She wasn't being charged with murder or manslaughter yet...they were treating it like a accident.
To think of all this and to what she has to go through now....wow im just glad it wasn't me. Whenever my friend closes her eyes she will see her ghosts haunting her...I hope she can pull out of it.

Jesus! I can't even begin to imagine how she feels
Make sure you are there for her if she needs you And for crists sakes, don't treat her any different in light of this unfortunate happening.

I can't really add anything to the advice already given. Just be there for her, and listen!

That's always a really weird situation, like what do you do?
One of my dear friends since childhood is in prison for breaking and entering, armed robbery, and he tied the people in the house up with power cords... it was really rough and bizarre to think of someone I know doing something like that and then having to live with the consequences.

Thats really sad... it reminds me of what happened to three of my friends.
It was the summer of our junior year, and two of my friends were driving to a graduation party being held near our house. They were turning left into the driveway, when a third friend of mine who had been drinking crashed into them. The driver was in shock, and the passenger was killed instantly. My mom, who was right behind the drunk driver, was the first one on the scene.
