Sorry I didn't notice your post three days ago. Was too busy wondering how that double post happened, and where the beer came from. (Oh, well. I guess beer appearing gratis can't be a bad thing??)
Been run ragged traveling. (And there was some fudge on one trip, though I couldn't eat any. Too much milk in the fudge, and not enough lactose pills in my purse.)

Stress wouldn't be so hard to take if it were chocolate civered.

Don't worry. Around where my mom grew up, "civered" is a perfectly good word - though I think the prefered spelling may take a "k".

I'm buried under mounds of music to be learned, and not looking forward to the lots of driving that will go with it. Otherwise, things are OK. We are flirting with a first frost tonight. It didn't kill my tomatoes last night. If they survive tonight, I think those last two big ones will get ripe. Put the basil pot on the porch just in case though.
Have you had snow yet?

No snow yet! Last year we had a very mild fall but this year we might get snow this Sun. or Mon.-which is quite early. We usually get a bit of snow just before Halloween...but not this early!

I know the folks to your east are up to their necks in it. We have a picture of a toddler me standing in snow beside a Jack-o-lantern, but that is almost unheard of down hear.

Right they really got it in Ontario & I heard it was an early snow record for Buffalo New York. Snowfall has even brought down power lines, causing lemgthly power outtages.

Well, I've dodged the bullet here. Still have all the tomatoes and basil, though a nasty black caterpillar almost destroyed the herbs before I caught him. The tomatoes ripen too slowly in these short days, but if they can stay on the vine another week, I should have two nice ones to end on.
Key: Complain about this post
