I'm currently working on a Text Adventure game, called Dee Undy...I'm hoping WoTC can take a joke. Anyway I tell thee it's flurking hard! It's taken me all day just to get an orc to sit, sleeping, ontop of a chest and for the came to prevent you from opedning the chest with said sleeping orc on top.

Titania (gone for lunch) Posted May 16, 2007
I once made an attempt to create a game using the tools provided by a RPG for handhelds - I don't remember if it was Aldon's Crossing or Kyle's Quest. Anyway, I was trying to create this swamp with a narrow path, and if you stepped off the path, you'd begin sinking. And if you didn't step back onto the path quickly enough, you'd drown (I used some kind of countdown I think).
But it took such a huge amount of coding that in the end I gave up...
Good luck, and I hope you have more patience than I had!

I'had got lots more bits done but my computer's on the fritz. Admittedly I still hadn't got the first room finished.
