I'm going to start of with something quite popular and then go downhill....
Hey Jude - The Beatles... The bit near the end with Macca doing the Nah Nah Nah bit...
This leads nicely onto Bananarama & good bye (in fact the nah nah nah bits seem just to morph into the bananarama bit- argh!)
In order to get rid of this hideous poppy number, I have to pull out the big guns....
Please. Read no further if you are of a nervous disposition. These songs will have you banging your head against the table quicker than you can sing "Hold a chicken in the air...".
OK. You asked for it...
Suzanne Vega - Tom's Diner.... Noooooooo..... Dut dut deh deh, dut dut deh deh, dut dut deh deh deh deh deh duh....
AARRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH..... Must.... move... on... to... last.... song.... one... so... awful... I don't... even... know... its... name...
La da di la louw, la da di la louw..... ad nauseum....
Please... If anyone can tell me the name or artist of the last one, I'll be able to complete my quest of buying up every copy and microwaving each and every disc, one by one, then burying the molten remains in a permanently sealed casket, deep underground...

i know the song you mean, but i can't remember the title or the artist. This now falls into a worse catagory than songs that get stuck, it's the songs you know, they're on the tip-of-your-tongue, and you just can't remember!!!!
i've sat for hours trying to remember song names
here's another for you then, singing in the rain, just the
da da-da da da da-da, da da-da da da etc... bit
Key: Complain about this post
