I wondered if any of you would care to join me in sharing some of the little things add a tad of contentment to a life.

Such as walking past one of Lush's emporiums that you could smell from 50 feet away.
Drinking fizzy water with a splash organic Blueberry or Elderflower cordial in upon a warm day.
Walking along the edge of a meandering stream as it sings softly to you, a warm breeze bringing the sweet smells of the earth and the trees to you as you watch the damselflies flit and flight.
Sitting on a log brushing your hand over the bark and moss and lichen.

Snuggling into the warm hug of a loved one

Not as romantic, but smelling some freshly made coffee and then having the first cup of it in the morning.

First joint and melting into the sofa after a stressful day at work.
Dancing.

The first cuddle of the day with Yoda, specially when she rolls on her back & goes "FLOP"!

Checking my plants & finding the new flowers which miraculously opened overnight.

Music!!!!!

Talking to good friends on the internet. Talking to acquaintances in RL (yeah, i know that's sad, but there you go)

Returning home after a day's driving to find an Auntie has washed all the dishes I left in the sink.(I love pot fairies)

Coming here, feeling the good vibes from friends to friends

I like waking up in the morning, not opening my eyes, knowing that I can sleep on and the world just wouldn't care.

Favourite things; ice cold Muscatel, 85% dark chocolate(prefarably at the same time),rolling myself in the duvet when its blowing a force 9 outside ,listening to someone else mowing their lawn, and lying in the grass on the heath among the wild thyme and silverweed and smelling summer.

I love a good cuddle, music, dropping in to see old friends for no reason at all, knitting useful things, and the sound of laughter (esp. small children, it just makes me happy). Oh, and fresh cut grass... love that too
