The Fairy Melusine

P&P is one of my favourite books, like Christopher Lee and the Lord of the Rings, I read it at least once a year.

It is interesting to note that with an income of £5,000 and £10,000 per annum respectively, Bingley and Darcy are not just rich but were in the top 5% of incomes in the period that the book was written.

I agree, its a very good article, on what is one of my favourite books.

Just one (minor) point though. Isn't Longbourn in HerTfordshire rather than HerEfordshire? I could very well be wrong on this point though. I usually am.

No I think you are right - I am pretty sure it is not in Herefordshire. Well spotted!
