They can take a girl out of Grimsby, but they can't take the 'fishwife' out of the girl 
I used to live not far from the cricket ground in Glasgow, just up from Partick Cross. But it was hardly a hive of activity. It is all golf and rugby here... I am tempted to say the rules of cricket are probably too complicated for the natives!
