I never was fan of cars, but top gear makes it comedy with serious twist.

He is a very exciting character.
I'm sure everyone at TopGear is thinking of him.
I truly do hope that he pulls through on this one. He's far too young not to.

Yes I hope he pulls through - a very talented broadcaster.
You have to question his judgment in attempting the land speed record when he has a wife and young family. To what extent was it his decision?

I think it would have been his decision. If someone who used to be part of Top Gear and now works for another channel can still back up the BBC, then I don't think it was their fault. Something obviously happened after the parachut was deployed.

something might have happened before the "chute" was deployed, like the car's tyre "hitting a small stone" on the track and remember the acceleration to get to 300mph gan be pritty quick! so it might not be pilot error!

I used to watch Top Gear a few years ago, but I remeber another presenter. I hope he'll get better soon - and that he'll learn of this. You know, it made me wonder about the entry I subbed, telling us how much fun dragster cars are

Poor Richard Hammond. He's never gonna be the same, the doctors say that they have good hopes for him, but I doubt we'll see him return to Topgear
