When the phone rang, I just knew it would be bad news.
It was mum to say John had died.
John is VC's father in law and he had lung cancer.
There was talk originally that he would make it through to the end of the year. This came so suddenly.

Thanks ST. 
I've spoken to V and VC this morning. VC is in work for now.
V is at his parents house. V has to explain to his children that their grandfather has died. They're going to be so upset. They're in their early teens.

Never an easy thing to do I know. fortunately you are all a close knit family and will support each other whatever it takes.

I went round to sisters house last night...just to check up on V. He's fine. Ended up making him giggle with my usual antics 
He did slap my bottom though
