Right. We've just signed the contracts ready for exchange 
Apparently, it wasn't our house that was built directly over a filled in sand pit, but 2 houses down.
Secondly, *every* house on the new build has had the stuff fitted to deal with radon gas.
Our house passed the environmental report with flying colours once our solicitor did some further digging around.
YAY!
Here's to a smooth and hasstle free moving in date

I spoke to the sales woman yesterday.
She suggests that the house will be ready in a little over 2 weeks. I could really do with moving in a week or two before the wedding though. I'd like to get everything sorted before hand.
Anyways, I could really do with losing some weight so I can get into my wedding dress!!!

well....I'd have ordered a size 12. They told me that they were going to order a size 10...eeek!!!
Well, I've been down there this morning and tried it on. It fits!!!!! YAY!!!!
