I just haven't met any men of the cloth yet who can accurately quote japanese battlecries from Ryu (/Ken) out of Streetfighter.

No, when Chun Li does a Spinning Bird Kick she just squeals "Spinning Bird Kick". "Tat-su-maki-sen-pu-kyaki" is what Ryu and Ken both say when they do their own Little Spinny Fly Kick Thing, which basically is a SBK, but not upside down.
