I did see him re-emerge after a 5-day absence. After Tabitca's plea to him, which was syncronous with her journal, I wondered if he was too deeply hurt. Her piece did, perhaps, point out some insensitivities of some ... and apparently that same "some" causing atleast some to have left the site. I am pleased that pheloxi isn't so easily driven away.

BTW, is this adequate 'drift', or should another 'tack' happen? I do lose track of the daily mode of the place

Actually I meant the people who stood up for me then, suddenly deciding that I'm lower than a snakes belly. Nick has nothing to do with it and as far as I was aware he didn't know anything about it.

And I stand by everything I said to Pheloxi, no-one seems to give a rats a$$ about my feelings during the incident, but once a always a in the eyes of many around h2g2. Mud sticks and all that

I did see that it was his taking exception to a Reef comment that stirred his ire. The fact that some backed her up just stirred things deeper, and perhaps it words such as "I forbid you to speak that way" and "I demand an immediate apology" ... both foolish and empty declarations declined by himself not many posts later ...

Yes, Reef's lightness with the illness was the crystal of the brew. But so many stirrers after that highlighted to the man that he is NOT the only sufferer, and that each meet it their own way.

There is no vendetta with Nick. He created this today.
