Well, it wasn't me nor lil who mentioned emails and PY bugs and personal spaces.

Hmmm, if I were to suggest that it is a lovely spring morning in Ontario, would the pair of you find some way to make this a negative thing?

And the reference to PS's and PY-bugs was in connection with other quirks and flaws that seem to be a bother around h2g2. As much as the inexplicably frozen-in-time 'popular threads' idea. Which was the start of the whole thread here.

I would consider post #45 as topic drift, no more no less.

What has your weather to do with the '20 most popular conversations?'
I wasn't being negative. Merely enquiring as to where you found the Topic Drift.

Oh for Pete's sake ... let it go !!! What-ever I say, you're going to find a flaw or innuendo, aren't you? Well go and do what-ever you will. I don't have time for such silliness.

If you don't want us to reply, you shouldn't ask, especially not when your question implies that *we* are out to distort everything you're saying into something negative.
You don't need others for that, you know, you manage perfectly well on your own.

Have we been conversing in a different language?

At about 10pm tonight the most popular coversation will be the Eurovision Song Contest one
Personally I can't see what all the fuss is about, if someone wants to evesdrop on a conversation of mine they're in for a nasty shock, they are completely boring to anyone else and if I have something contraversial to say I'll use an email, or say it out loud for the sheer hell of it, I've got nothing to hide.

Yes, you are probably right about tonight.
As an ex <./>ACE</.> you will be used to others dropping in. I even have the invitation in my greeting for newbies to look into my PS.
I think Hootoo has become so used to not having a 'popular listing' it's become a bit of a shock to find their PS on the Front Page again.

Well, it had more than 100 new posts today, but will it ever make the FP? I doubt it, or if it does, then maybe in a month, when everybody has forgotten about it.

It's ALWAYS the most popular thread on Eurovision night, there may only be half a dozen or so people actually there in the thread but it moves at an incredible rate for 4 hours, last year I think there was over 300 postings maybe nearer 400

That will keep it on top of the <./>info</.> page. But it seems this popular 20 listing is rather slower than that

I know. It may have escaped your attention, but I spent last year in that thread, and I'm still following it and posting to it occasionally.
If the current list is anything to go by, it will still not appear on the FP.
Key: Complain about this post
