I'm very proud of the contributions that I have made to H2G2, and I want to show my Earthlings that I am a fully qualified researcher, if there is such a thing.
Would it be a good idea for everybody who becomes a researcher to be given an identity card? Possibly even a company credit card for all expenses accumulated when doing research? Or at the very lest the ID card should have some discounts off.
I wouldn't mind paying a small amount of money for one.

I'd be interested to see what kind of demand there is for ID cards. Sadly, our resources don't stretch to offering credit facilities.
Yet.

You may wish to veiw my user page for a quick description of how to construct your very own identity badge. Don't think its credit limit would be very high though

Hmm... I wouldn't mind being a card carrying h2g2 field researcher... Just think of all of the free perks that go along with it... The fame, the forture, the money...
It's a great deal at any price!

I too would be interested in an H2G2 ID card. Just imagine the look on the cop's face when he asks me for ID.

I think an ID card would be a good idea. Especially if there could be some sort of discount scheme for Douglas Adams / H2G2 related items.

I know it's not quite as good as a real ID, but I've created a virtual ID card at http://www.h2g2.com/A191161
The page displays my virtual ID and also has a script to generate the HTML to create a virtual ID card on your own web page. The ID card links to the main H2G2 page and to the researcher's page.
