why cant i publish a journal entry?

i have successfully published one. today i wrote another one, clicked on 'publish', and it showed me the preview of it, and it says (soon), but it wont actually. publish. whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I know this may sound rather silly, but are you hitting the preview button instead of the publish button?
