Thank you Mrs Zen for your long post.
What's annoying the hell out of me is people who have worked like Trojans..and yes we know you have..and I've always acknowledged and praised it..I *haven't* or *could* do that. My brain doesn't work that way...I can do other thinking, is that people are getting all upset because of what is being voiced.
I'm sick of repeating myself that the reason for *me* and people eg like *anhaga* are so het up is because we care about the *culture* of h2g2. If that goes its just a word. We are artists to our core.
Do some people here really not get that fundamental? If not that's a deep concern.
Dr. Zen gets it thank god. He was honest with me somewhere else about people knowing hard decisions were made and people thought and worried long and hard.
I totally trust him for that honesty. And it proves the strength of the new thing that we can talk about this stuff. (For goodness sakes Tav can't you see that..why on earth are you so upset about members *caring*?.
Since the beeb dumped us there has been so much stuff happening on this site it's not true...it will take time.
I'm NOT a destructive person.
So again many thanks Gnomon, Mrs Zen and Dr. Zen, Lanza for your candidness
We will get there. (Tav you have nothing to worry about. And christ crying is more or less a way of life for me of late I'm not very British
PS I'll take another look to at that pathetic appeaser thread to hunt down Robbie...

Yes Dr. Zen. Consider me volunteered...if I can use my talents I'd love to. But don't expect me to keep my mouth shut about *cultural* *artistic* concerns.

I thought that everything that can be said in this thread had been said a couple of hundred posts ago. I was wrong but I don't think the point I made was wrong.
This is a marathon not a sprint.
If everyone would just do what they can do, what they're good at, we'll all make it.
If everyone just keeps plodding along we'll get there.
There's no reason why this incarnation shouldn't be the best ever h2g2, evolving, getting bigger and better than it ever was before but that probably hinges on everybody pacing themselves and playing to their strengths. Go through the burn and keep running. There'll be leaders in the field, pacemakers, and there'll be the rest of us running along in various groups but there's no reason why we can't all finish up more or less together with a site to be proud of.
I'm going to review something, or write, or *shakes fists*, or just do something that'll save somebody else the trouble of doing it.
Anybody else want to try that?
