That's rather too specific. The BBC would have had to pay for film images. And there's been more than one version of the film anyway.

(NB I don't make up my list of images from nowhere. They have to have been put on the BBC's servers first - and specifically in the dna area, mostly just h2g2.)

as i said, the (machine)for want of a better word, was well before its time for a design for a spaceship,i like the sleak look of the machine.

i was on a pc at the library a few days back, and took a look at a few clips of the original drawings and pics,(from the first,war of the world)

No, I don't think that h2g2 ever covered the old War Of The Worlds film like that (or even the original book or radio version). Collective has a review of the new film. But still not images. It wasn't even part of the "cult" area of the BBC, not being BBC or other TV.

i have seen the original one about 8 or 9 times in the last 20 or so years, its timless.

you could say it was a film out of its era.i wonder what happened to the machines they used, they would be small scale i would think, as i said the new one is nowhere near the old one, why do they try to update a good thing, thanks again jim

ive checked all 15 and the a guide one isnt there a few are double ie the devil jim

Why only 15? Do you only know about B-numbers? The new h2g2 blob system uses named files instead of numbered ones. So vampire.jpg is the one in my list that's also in that A-page you found.

im limited with having the digi, can only get the ones in plain site, have the usertest link for U,s but wont work on A.s number guides jim

To look at the GuideML code for an A-page number, you just need test###### not testuserpage###### (as for a U-number). So for A11101654 you use <./>test11101654</.> to see the GuideML. Which is:
