Oh dear, attendance here seems to be a bit thin on the ground
On a happier note I *did* manage to secure my ticket for Thursday night's game
Now all I need is a cure for the ear ache I acquired after spending 5 hours today on hold and/or redialling the Bramall Lane box office phone line

Um, I'vce been in bed ill all day, mdidn't realise there were matches today until they started the cardiff commentary on five live. Having dragged myself out of bed to come down the library and do some revision for my exam on thursday, can I plead mitigating circumstances and pick some results for wed and thurs?
If so:
QPR 2-1 Oldham (Gallen)
Scunthorpe 6-3 Lincoln (calvo-Garcia)
sheff utd 1-0 Forest (Paul Peschisolido)
Reading 0-0 wolves
If not:
Bugger.

Strange that the results haven't been posted here following the Blades' epic extra-time triumph last night. I wonder if GreyDesk has been overwhelmed by excitement, or both?
FOOTBALL LEAGUE - 2nd Leg
GreyDesk Posted May 16, 2003
Well the results are in, and the scores after 90 minutes only are:
Sheffield United 2-2 Nottingham Forest (JOHNSON, Reid, Brown, Kabba)
Reading 0-1 Wolves (RAE)
Queens Park Rangers 1-0 Oldham Athletic (FURLONG)
Bristol City 0-0 Cardiff City (--)
Bournemouth 3-1 Bury (O'CONNOR, Hayter, Preece)
Scunthorpe United 0-1 Lincoln City (YEO)
The Points:
GreyDesk - 11 points (SheffU scorer, QPR full house , Bristol City result, Bournemouth result & scorer)
Ormondroyd - 6 points (SheffU scorer, QPR full house )
Master B - (SheffU scorer & 1st scorer, QPR result, Bournemouth result & score)
Otto Fisch - 8 points (SheffU scorer, QPR & Bristol City result, Bournemouth result & scorer)
Egon - 2 points (QPR result)
And that makes me the winner
FOOTBALL LEAGUE - 2nd Leg
Mu Beta Posted May 17, 2003
Very odd how we all predicted QPR and Scunthorpe to win.
Well done GD - shame the Blades are gonna get thrashed, innit?

You're right it is a shame. I know that we can rise to meet the challenge of the Leeds, Liverpools and Arsenals of this world for the one of game, but meeting them week after week I fear will be one step too far for us
