Here's my first round of edits A1051598.
Fairly extensive, but, I think, self explanatory, so I will only comment on one change.
I cut out the bit on barbaric neologisms since it really didn't fit in with the rest of the entry. It was just a definition of a term not used elsewhere.
I also may to drastic things to Invented Words in the Electronic Age, since I think it focuses to heavily, not on new words, but on contracted spellings in text messaging.

Procrastination being my forte I didn't do any more changes until today. Nevertheless there is a small window of opportunity to comment before I return it to the towers. I'm fairly pleased with my changes, and hope that they add rather than subtract to the feel of this interesting little entry.
