To get in the mood, you could try reading something you like that's satirical or sarcastic. (I realize this is a few weeks too late, but it's good advice anyway.) If you've never been there, and your parents don't mind, a good site for getting in that kind of mood is maddox.xmission.com, and a less offensive but less effective one is the dilbert blog, dilbertblog.typepad.com.

Still, a week is a long time in either politics or a teenager's social life.

This is *so* bizarre. The school districts right next to mine have completely different breaks; my parents who teach at the local university have a different break as well. Yet kids who I meet online have the same break as me. Spooky ....

It's horribly and terribly true.
Kat had numerous real-life issues to contend with and so had to limit and finally cease her involvement on h2g2. Actualy, I haven't talked to her in a long time... I hope she's still doing all right.
