h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It was a mishmash of other films, the bald villan came straight out od Austin Powers, at one point I thought he was going to put his little finger to his mouth and go MWAHAHAHAHAHA, the clone idea came from Austin Powers too, the desert chase scene has been done in the Phantom Menece, the lift off scene from the desert came from Attack of the Clones, and the saucer section crashing into the bad guy's ship has been done in Generations, I went with my BF who's a Trekkie and he wasn't impressed either, I do like the ST films but that one was really dissapointing, I can't wait for Star Wars 3

I thought it was an okay movie although as you pointed out it was very predictable. Though the battle scenes were pretty good.

Even tho the Riker/bald bloke fight scene was last seen in Alien, the last film I saw was Chicago, even my BF liked it

I haven't seen that movie yet but one of my friends "HDS" loves it. Although I'm not really that big of a fan of musicals.

I have a question for you how do you think a Space Devision for the SGC would sound?

I think we're going to need one, do you know Owlatron, he's interested in joining maybe he can be persueded to form SG-9 space divison

Actually that sounds like a good idea. SG-9, but everyone is welcome to join. We can make a new guide entry for each ship, give the ships weapons/width/ and heighth according to rank.

a fantastic idea and vital in the defense of the SGC and her allies. a few are interested in it i know so it should, as they say, take off quite well.
