Mon Calimari shields w/ redundancies. These are some of the most powerful shields in all of the Star Wars galaxy. The redundancies are basically extra shields that pop up when the last one failed.

Well seeing as when you're in a battle you're not jumping to hyperspace (unless you're running away, then you're a coward) I could use the power made by the engine to power the shields instead.

Yes, but if you lower the shields and accelerate at top speed, they would blink and miss you, they wouldn't have a chance to hit you while your shields were down before you jumped.

I want really good shields. Like, the type of shields they got trickin' out the Durrandal. With Zohars and stuff. Completely Anti-Gnosis and all that. That would be fun...
