Right so I'll put a docking port on mine so they can join up then. AS I said to HDS it should be ready by 10o clock (gmt) tomorrow, because I am gonna go home and design it tonight and god-help anyone using the computer when I walk in.

Sweet. I have no clue when mine'll be done. 'cos as I said to HDS, you try working on a regular basis with a dysfunctional band and then having time to do anything else.

Aries (ACE + Badger) Posted Apr 1, 2003
I can see how that would be hard, although if I tried to join a band I would only make them worse.

Well, I don't know abotu dis-funtional bands, but I do know that I can sleep till noon, go to work, work there, go to other work, work there, go to a midnite movie in a town 30 minutes away, come home, take an hour long shower, and still find som H2G2 time.

Aries (ACE + Badger) Posted Apr 2, 2003
Were your parents used to only getting a few hours sleep?
Specialized equipment/ Personal requests
His Divine Shadow: ACE, Shi Alyt Posted Apr 2, 2003
they don't like it, but they don't say anything about it. I'm sure in their day they did the same

Aries (ACE + Badger) Posted Apr 2, 2003
I think that kind of thing is heriditary.

His Divine Shadow: ACE, Shi Alyt Posted Apr 2, 2003
its probably as much to do with getting used to it, as it is to genes

In RL I'm kind of nocturnal, I get tired at about 8'o clock in the morning after staying up all night.

His Divine Shadow: ACE, Shi Alyt Posted Apr 2, 2003
on school days I go to sleep at midnight
on non-school days, that's anyone's guess
Specialized equipment/ Personal requests
Aries (ACE + Badger) Posted Apr 2, 2003
Well this morning, I went asleep at about 9 and woke up again at 10 after staying awake all night, I went on a rather long walk.

some nights, ussually school nights, I wake up after 2 hours of sleep, think I woke up after 6 hours of sleep, and start to get ready to go to school/work. Only to be half way through my routine and realize, oh wait, its still very early morning. crap. then I go back to bed, which entials reading to get back to sleep.

I think I know what it may be, but I need to ask a question to verify it, Do you do a lot of physical work during the day?

Jade (Like a lithium flower just about to bloom... She's incredible math.) and Thras (the token dragon dæmon) Posted Apr 2, 2003
I do a lot of physical work and get about five hours of sleep (on a good night), and I still /have/ to have about eight shots of espresso running through my system to be coherent. (Thank the gods for my cappuccino maker, is all I have to say.)

There isn't much physical work at the theater, other than lifting the od 50 pund bag of pop-corn seed and carrying it from the store room in the back, to the stand in the front.
But Wendy's is lifting fryer filter boxes (weighing about 50 pounds) from point A, crossing over and/or around point B, then dropping them off at point C, cleaning them there, and rinsing them at point D, then haulling them over to point B (which I passed by earlier) and leaving them there until open in the moring. After all of that I slack fries (lift boxes loaded w/ fries out of the freezer, put them in the fridge, use the ones in the fridge to fill the fry cart, after taking the ones on the fry cart [the fry cart, by-the-by, is taller and wider than I am by a foot or more, in all regards] to the mini-fridge by the fryers). and every other day, putting away between 72 and 124 boxes full of stuff, much of it frozen.
But the pay is more than worth it, and several of the workers there are big enough and tall enough and can get leverage enough to pop my back when I'm done.
Sometimes (not at all often enough) I get to do hand outs, my favorite job there, all you need to do is prepare the food bags, make sure everything gets in it, fill their drinks and fries.
Or I can also run the front register at Wendy's, also fun, but it involves talking to humans when all I need say to customers at the hand-out station is "have a great day"
On occasion I also cook the meat.
