The wurzels cover changed it to "I've got a brand new combine harvester and i'll give you the key- Melanie's version was called, I believe, "Brand New Key"

Yup...the line was "I've got a brand new pair of rollerskates and you've got a brand new key"
And it's now cycling through my head repeatedly
Oh I've just thought REMs cover of the troggs Love is All Around, was blatantly copied by wet wet wet a year later who proceded to destroy it.
Still trying to get my hands on a copy of the REM-Troggs collaborative album...all parties involve say it's utter swill

It was indeed rollerskates, as aptly proven by Heather Graham in Boogie Nights (just before she gets her kit off). But it's still very obviously a cover version.
