Go and see this film, it’s really imposing. Good short films, some political but most highlighting the worries, concerns and living conditions of people whom we shouldn’t forget in all the other commotion. And the diverse film styles and approaches of the directors are interesting too.
Since seeing it I’ve read a british review which made out Ken Loach’s was the best contribution but I think that was just a touch of patriotic loyalty; I felt his was one of the weaker ones - not the topic (Chile) but ‘cos his film is unimaginative compared to others.
I particularly liked the Egyptian episode for its ideology and approach, the Burkina Faso one for its touch of fresh humour, and the private (albeit slightly soppy) world in Sean Penn’s contribution. Pity the Bosnian contribution wasn’t stronger after the horror of Srebrenica.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
