The game requires at least two players, but the more the merrier. A ball may be constructed from paper, bubble wrap and tape and any roughly bat-like piece of furniture may be used for the, erm. bat. In the basic form of the game each player has a turn batting and the other players all bowl a fixed number of overs to the batter. The game may be played for the simple enjoyment of breaking the odd window, or a scoring system (based on the environment that the game is played) may be devised.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
