Computer room chair race
Uncle Fester Started conversation Dec 20, 1999
In my days as a computer operator many years ago, we used to propel ourselves around the computer room on wheeled chairs. The course was a lap around the many disk units. The rules were you couldn't touch the ground with your feet. One hefty player caused a whole rack of disks to power down just by pushing off them. Apparantly disks have a type of pinball tilt mechanism. Another variation on the race theme was arming yourself with plastic tape write rings which you hurled at your fellow workers.
